I’m Cameron—better known as DJ Sound Dragon. The name came from a car I once owned called the “Blue Dragon,” and while the name stuck, what defines me isn’t dragons or even music. It’s people.

For me, the heart of this work has always been about people and the impact events have on them. With the power of music and a microphone, I’ve seen how the right energy can transform a night into a memory that lasts a lifetime. That’s why I do this.

Over the last decade, I’ve worked my way from small local gigs to producing multi-day music festivals, business expos, and large-scale community events. I’ve provided stages, sound, and lighting for concerts, fashion shows, county fairs, and high-school dances with 1,500+ students. My work has taken me across Washington, serving clients of every size—from intimate weddings to massive productions.

Today, I own and operate Beat Drop Kitchen & Event Center in Lacey, WA—a full restaurant, nightclub, and event space open weekly. My clients don’t just hire a DJ; they can walk into my venue and see the level of quality I bring to everything I do. Beyond Beat Drop, I’m also a landlord and multi-business owner, keeping a packed professional schedule during the week. But when the weekend comes, my focus is locked in on one thing: delivering unforgettable events.

I’ve performed at hundreds of weddings and school dances, plus countless private and corporate events. And no matter the scale—whether 50 guests or 5,000—I show up prepared. My custom van and trailer carry an immense inventory of gear: extra speakers, backup systems, generators, lighting rigs, tents, and even small details like sewing kits and water. Over the years, that preparation has allowed me to step in when it mattered most—keeping buffets dry during downpours, powering weddings after blackouts, securing décor in windstorms, and even lighting venues so photographers could capture perfect shots.

At the end of the day, I’m not just a DJ. I’m a venue owner, a producer, a sound engineer, and an event partner. What drives me is knowing that I don’t just play music—I create memories and help people walk away saying their night was everything they dreamed of…and more.
